Shirts

At the start of the season we provided 'blue polo team' shirts to all squad memmbers. We were hoping that they would be part of a sponsorship package, unfortunately this has now fallen through. As a consequence we would like to collect £10 each from those who were given the shirts in order to re-imburse Mr Adderley.

I'll start collecting monies over the next couple of weeks.

Tuesday 3rd July U16 Training starts with Seniors.

Training starts on Tuesday with the first of the sessions with the Senior squad taking place at 6,30pm on 3rd July.
It was good to see lots of the lads training with the seniors.

Message From Steve and Simon.
All the Senior players made the lads feel welcome particularly “Corky” who made sure he introduced himself to Sam, Tom McGuirk, Tom Schofield & Steve Quigley, which is a great gesture. Hopefully more lads will start training and come down Thursday and endure the pain/fun of pre season training. It was noted that a lot of the lads were targeting the more experienced players and in many cases kept up and beat some of the seniors on the 12 minute run. For Steve that’s what this is all about, young men targeting experienced players in their relevant position and trying to beat them. Steve also was impressed how some of the seniors were working on inside defense every time at touch and pass.Brilliant!! A very successful night, Steve will congratulate you all when he can.

Just a quick note to let you know how the first session went.
There was about nine lads down last night which I felt was a good turn out. They worked the lads really hard and none of them dropped out. Great effort by all of them.
I think it might be a good idea to congratulate the lads on their efforts last night and assure them that the first session is always the hardest. If you don't have enough time send me the contacts and I will do it.
